Appartenant dans les années 2000 à un collectionneur de Seattle, aux États-Unis, cette XK 140 roadster est arrivée en Belgique en 2003, avant d'intégrer notre collection. Elle était alors blanche avec intérieur noir mais avait l'avantage d'être équipée de son bloc moteur d'origine et d'un overdrive, option très appréciée.
Comme toutes les voitures de la collection, elle a fait l'objet d'une restauration dans le but de retrouver tout son chic et de pouvoir être utilisée régulièrement. La remise en état a réclamé plus de trois ans de travaux et, aujourd'hui, ce roadster présente un belle peinture bleu ciel, réhaussée par les roues à rayons chromés. L'intérieur en cuir noir est légèrement patiné, témoignant d'un usage soigneux. Comme l'ensemble des voitures de notre collectionneur, elle est dotée sous le tableau de bord d'allume-cigares permettant de maintenir en charge un appareil électronique. De plus, dans le but de pouvoir rouler sans souci, elle est équipée d'un radiateur en aluminium et de ventilateurs additionnels. Une révision d'usage a été effectuée en juin 2022 au garage MV Classic Car.
Avec une restauration ancienne qui a remarquablement résisté au temps, son bloc-moteur d'origine et son overdrive lui aussi d'origine, ce roadster XK 140 fera le bonheur de ceux qui sauront profiter du charme d'une merveilleuse sportive anglaise.

Owned by a collector from Seattle in the United States around the 2000s, this XK 140 Roadster reached Belgium in 2003, before joining our collection. It was then white with black interior but had the benefit of being equipped with its original engine block and an overdrive, a very popular option.
Like all cars in this collection, it has been restored in order to regain all its glory and have the ability to be used regularly. Over three years of work was required for the restoration and today, this roadster is presented in a beautiful sky-blue paint, enhanced by chrome wire wheels. The black leather interior is slightly patinated, demonstrating its careful use. Like all of our collector's cars, it is fitted with cigarette lighters under the dashboard to keep an electronic device charged. Furthermore, it is equipped with an aluminium radiator and additional fans, in order to guarantee a smooth drive. A standard service was carried out in June 2022 at the MV Classic Car garage.
With a past restoration that has remarkably withstood the test of time, its original engine block and the original overdrive, this XK 140 roadster will delight those who know how to take advantage of the charm from a wonderful English sports car.
